Raul Simonetti

Raul Simonetti joined CAREL INDUSTRIES S.p.A. in 2000 as a Product Specialist for humidification. He dealt with sales support and training for several years, presenting papers at specialist events.
Following a period as Application Manager at the Climate Business Unit (humidification and evaporative cooling systems), since 2014 he has been HVAC/R Corporate Business Manager for all CAREL businesses, analyzing the current and future legislative and normative landscape in EU, USA, China, Australia, Japan and other Countries to anticipate the innovation of CAREL products also with regard to natural refrigerants, energy saving and evaporative cooling solutions.
He acts as CAREL Industries SpA’s Representative in EPEE’s Steering Committee and Working Groups, Eurovent, EHPA, as well as other Industry Associations. He represents the Company at seminars and congresses organised by the leading business associations in Italy and abroad, writing and presenting technical papers on humidification, evaporative cooling, and energy saving. He has been the 2023-2024 ASHRAE CEC Chair, and still is member of ASHRAE Technical Committee TC 5.11 Humidification Equipment.
