Pietro Rossato

Pietro Rossato, 50, a graduate in electronic engineering from the University of Padua, has more than 20 years’ international experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management roles at companies with a global industrial and logistics presence. In these roles he has been responsible for projects aimed at improving or introducing targeted processes to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency, and service to the market: start-up of production sites, application of lean methodologies, implementation of S&OP, revision of distribution networks, logistics outsourcing, cost improvement programs, and assessment and development of organisational models.
At CAREL since 2017 as Group Chief Operations Officer, he coordinates the operations of the Group’s 10 manufacturing sites, guaranteeing their industrial development and operational performance. The main projects he has undertaken include the definition of investments and industrial footprint needed to support the growth of the business in the regions, the definition and implementation of the digital roadmap, post M&A integration, and the creation of a resilient supply chain capable of guaranteeing operational and service continuity.
