CAREL’s iJ XL wins the German Design Award 2026

CAREL’s iJ controller, in its XL format, has been awarded the German Design Award 2026 in the Excellent Product Design category.

The iJ XL represents the latest evolution of the iJ platform, designed to offer manufacturers of commercial refrigeration equipment a clear and elegant user interface. Its extra-large display, available in both vertical and horizontal orientations, ensures optimal readability, while the dedicated status bar provides an immediate overview of unit operation. The chrome-finish version further enhances integration with stainless-steel equipment, making the iJ XL a distinctive design feature in professional food service environments.
